Helping People Understand themselves and Each Other
Relationship-centred counselling for children, parents, adults, and families, helping strengthen relationships, build resilience, and create lasting change.
No two people or families are the same, so counselling shouldn't be either. I believe meaningful change happens through healthy relationships. Depending on your concerns and goals, we may work together individually, with your child, with parents, or as a family. Together, we'll create an approach that best supports lasting and meaningful change.
Parent-Focused Counselling
When behaviour is the concern, lasting change often begins by supporting the parents.
Rather than expecting children to carry the responsibility for change on their own, I work alongside parents to better understand what's happening beneath the behaviour, strengthen relationships, and build practical strategies that create meaningful change at home.
Children may also participate in counselling when appropriate, but parents are often the most powerful agents of lasting change.
Every family is different, which means there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. Some concerns are best addressed by working directly with a child or teen. Others benefit from supporting parents, and many involve working with both. Together, we'll decide what approach will best support your child, your family, and your goals.
Some children benefit most from individual counselling, while other situations improve more quickly when parents are supported first. Most often, meaningful and lasting change comes from involving both.
Depending on your family's needs, counselling may include sessions with your child, with parents, or with everyone together. Every treatment plan is tailored to your family's unique concerns, strengths, and goals.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, parenting stress, relationship challenges, domestic violence, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, counselling can help you move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
Healthy relationships shape every part of our lives. I support people looking to strengthen their relationships with a partner, child, adult child, parent, co-parent, or family member, through improved communication, deeper understanding, and lasting connection.
